Thanks Annie! I was struck reading a news item this morning about how often we speak and write in terms that are misleading. In Morning Brew newsletter, it was written "The perceived likelihood of a recession also fell to the lowest level of 2023—though two-thirds of Americans still think one is either “somewhat” or “very likely” to happen in the next year." I think the exercise for assigning percentages to probablistic terms is one of the best teaching tools we have and it brings awareness to our need to improve our decision making.
