Registration is open for my next decision making cohort on Maven.com
My next cohort on Maven.com is now open for registration! I ran my first cohort back in November and absolutely loved it. The students were incredible, engaged, and thoughtful. After that, I wanted more of this kind of interaction so I knew I would keep offering classes.
This new cohort will run for three weeks from March 6th to March 22nd, offering two classes a week on Mondays and Wednesdays and an office hour each Tuesday. The course is $2,000 and many employers will reimburse the cost.
Right now, I am running an early bird special. Use the code EARLYBIRD200 to get $200 off the course fee.
Separately, if you are a FOUNDING MEMBER of this substack, I am offering a $400 discount as a perk for supporting this work. Please hit me up in the comments and I will get you a one time use code for the discount (feel free to gift the code to someone if you like).
What you'll learn in the class.
How to make better decisions.
Every decision is a bet on a forecast of the future. You have limited resources to figure out which prediction will have the best return in the long run. The solution: my 6-step process for better decision making.
What gets in the way of making good decisions.
Why doesn't your gut make great decisions? The answer: cognitive bias. I'll show you how to get to the outside view — what is true of the world independent of your own point of view.
Making effective decisions on a team.
Teams don’t always produce higher-quality decisions — they just have higher confidence. You'll learn how to find out when people disagree and normalize dissent in groups.
Making faster decisions.
There's a time-accuracy trade-off with decisions. I'll teach you my best frameworks for figuring out how fast you can go when making decisions.
Hope you’ll join me!
